Bending a Turban like Abdul Alhazred

How to tie a turban like the famous fictional Mad Arab of the Necronomicon. Suitable for MMM Initiators, and worn by all 3rds at ACO, even if they were not on the throne and breaking with Masonic tradition of only the Master wearing a lid.

The color restrictions for MMM Thelemites are:
Black is reserved for descendants of Aleister Crowley .
Green is for Muslim Thelemites (whatever the heck that is?)..anyway that's what I was told years ago.. perhaps things have changes or the original message was big bull dada. Perhaps it was a ruse to keep everyone from wearing black, and be inventive...

as for "kosher" Muslims :"..its actually sunnat of the prophet to wear white, green, and black.

white was worn on ordinary day by the prophet
green was by the ahle suffah (people of the pulpet)
black was for when the prophet went in the path of Allah (jihad)"

Other cultures that wear turbans have their own rules and ways of wrapping them and color codes and all are correct, of course. This vid is not posted to incite or debate that point, or promulgate any belief INCLUDING Thelema.

But for OTO Initiations and 3rds at large.. you can't beat this way of wrapping a turban and fulfilling the Al-Hallaj mantra: I am "The Truth" (God) أنا الحق‎

I am at a reenactment of the medieval ages and I am a hassassin and black is the colour they wear.

@TheKillerbobrv hmmm.. I have it from another source, Black Sun, who were really into the Alamut thing, that it was non-dyed unbleached cotton, or off-white. But black ones look great, perhaps even better on modern reenactors I'm sure.

@IlluminatiOvIndiana consider this: non-dyed is more unassuming, and camouflage for someone trying to blend in and not attract attention. White is also cooler, a lot cooler if you spend much time in the sun. But I can see where black suits a legendary reputation to the modern western mind. Color (or silk) may well have also been a symbol of rank among them. But I'm assured it was white without a doubt.

@TheKillerbobrv I was an OTO Initiate and black was only worn by relatives of the Beast 666 (Aleister Crowley). This is not to say that anyone who wears black is, except among Thelemites... Witness all these whiny rag heads that think I'm some kind of sand nigger because I have a beard and wore a turban for ritual Initiation ceremonies, but its quite the opposite.. obviously.. except to the ignorant .. or those to lazy to read the description. :)
