This is one method I undertook to release my mental attachment to some 'bad foods' that I really didn't want to 'crave' anymore. This is a little weird I will admit...

  • @Lakkhesis1976 You can still do 80-10-10 with cooked foods like rice, beans and veggies, but many people report that they get even better results eating mostly raw fruits and some tender green veggies, with the occasional avocado and moderate nuts and seeds.

  • @IronCladBen There is something SO wrong with a dietary paradigm that actually chastises you for craving rice, beans and cooked vegetables...

  • Interesting idea. I get cravings for rice, beans and cooked vegetables on 80-10-10. Still fighting that. Kinda scared to give this a shot.

  • Lolz black and white cookies, i remember those. funny memory. Originally from NJ myself. interesting video, agree with many points.

  • I would do this all the time without even realizing I was doing this. I'd always imagine how the food would make me feel after I ate it and what type of effects it would have on my body. I.E. depressed & lethargic, weight gain, etc.

  • This made me realize how I managed to become a fruitarian! It's funny I did it unconsciously... from the moment I first quit (for instance) alcohol and tobacco, I consistantly associated the bad feelings and intellectual knowledge of how bad they are to our body... and I kept doing that over and over again for everything I gave up there after (meat, dairy, ...). But again, I really did (do) it unconsciously, without really deciding to do so anymore (it's automatic).

  • this is an AMAZING idea, pure genius! this can basically annihilates cravings! that bathroom scenario definiately did it for me (i was thinkin about chinese food) thanks for this huge tip!!!!

  • Rawdawg Rory and I made currie flavored kale chips, I threw some rasins on them, oh so awesome!

  • great idea i'll try it with waffles n any other cooked food i crave...haha by the way when u mentioned curry my mum was talking about roti prata...

  • Thanks for the visual tips on a way to stop craving cooked food, cakes, cookies all processed foods. I think this will surely help me stay focussed.
