Thank you for your comment, but when I saw them at the Lone Star Ranch, I'm sure it was Tim Spencer. This was about 1941.

Burl Ives made a great recording of Power in the blood. Looked for it myself but unable to find...Im sure its out-there somewhere...

Hugh Farr had another lead on a Pioneer song called "There's Power in the Blood", that is in an old 78 album I have, but I have not heard it on Youtube.

As Hugh Farr was a favorite of mine, I had never heard the song "Power in the Blood" If you could email me a copy, I will put it on YouTube.
