  • I tend to agree, I prefer to use a dedicated hardware recorder first, we use a Boss BR1600 CD, but also have a great budget TASCAM dp008, We dont master on the boss tho we drop all the filles into Sony Acid Pro7 for that..we have a channel you can check..lots of different stuff on there..

  • @Icarionn Tons of bands record one track at a time! -set the main guitar track -lay a click track over it for drums -lay the vocals over that (this is all done using headphone/monitor to hear btw) -Lay Drums -scratch and trash the first main vocals and guitar and put a good 4-8 count click infront of the track to count off. -Then relay guitar/guitars -Bass -keys if you got em -and all other insturments -vocals MIX MASTER AND ENJOY! :)
  • reaper for windows or mac is better than garage band or pro tools, and the support group is the best. reaper.fm

  • HELP! Okay i'm thinking of recording the band i'm in at the moment, firstly to get our ideas saved, and also in the long run i think it's going to be useful to put together tracks using software like cubase. I will be getting a new pc tower soon, which will have 2 gb ram or higher. However i'm inexperienced and all this studio jargon about inferaces/outputs ect is confusing. What do i need to get started? I have watched this vid and it helped a bit but i am still lost. Thanks in advance.

  • that's my guitar right there... epiphone.

  • Change the mic to a Condensor mic($100-$300) and get a good mic preamp ($150-300)- You can get a preamp that is also a interface for your computer as well.

  • "That's two inputs"

    nice video b( ^^)b

  • ZOOM MRS 1608 the greatest hardware studio ever made.
