K&N Cold Air Intake. if it doesn't already have it. also you should get a 2.1 Kenne Bell supercharger they are sick! if you go to the K&N site and pick out your car then they will guarantee a certain amount of horsepower. if you provide proof that it didnt at least give you that much horsepower then they send your money back but you keep the filter. also if the 2.1 kenne bell supercharger is pumped up the max psi i think its around 200 extra hp? dont quote me on that one though. nice car! :D

headers,underpullies ,Xpipe, 373 in the rearend ..and chip it after that i would look into intakes,throttle bodys ect ect....the dumbass below has no idea that u have to build a bottom end before going whipple or kb supercharger unless u wanna throw a rod threw the block ...even cobras have to build bottom ends after 5-9lbs of boost 03-04 cobras are a lil more tougher and direct bolt on but for a GT rebuild bottom end to take the abuse new rods and pistons on that 2v 4.6 or pay for it later

@592220 Dude you can barely feel the difference of Under drive pullies and a CAI. I've got them both on my car and you will not feel a difference. They are both supporting mods. They only make a difference when other real HP mods are added.

@2003slvrgt Sound weak with the stock pipe. I've never known Borla Stingers to drone much, but if you are concerned about it get an aftermarket X-pipe with cats. It will be louder with much more roar, but no drone. IMO LT headers, an O/R X-pipe and Stingers is one of the best set ups for a Mustang.

@maestas04gt Yes but it is a pain in the ass to drop the filter down through the wheel well when it has to be removed and cleaned. I'd cut the hole bigger but I want the body to remain stock.

anybody know where i can buy the stinger mufflers? everywhere i look is a complete exhaust and i already have a complete exhaust i just wanna change the mufflers to the stingers

Dude, I've got the same car but I drive it to death. I have 160,000 miles on it and everything except brakes and tires are original. If yours is stock then you must add a CAI, but make sure you can get it in and out of the fender hole, mine is too wide. The BEST thing you can do cheap are underdrive pulleys. You will SHIT A BRICK at how much quicker the car is and it is only an hour swap. Next thing I do is cast iron lower end and a kenne-bell sc when I get the money
