Maryland's crab industry employs immigrants who come to the US legally through a guest worker program which many point to as a potential model for national immigration reform. But labor unions and advocates for immigrants' rights say the program is nothing more than legal exploitation that worsens conditions and lowers wages for foreign and domestic workers alike. AFPTV visits Hooper's Island, where hundreds of Mexican women come each season.Duration: 02:13
A properly run guest worker program is a big part of the solution.
