Make it like a bulbous pinch-pot. Make it as smooth and round as you can(both inside and out) -- and quite close to a generic xun's shape. the wall thickness is tapered towards the top blow hole. work fast and don't let it crack. Poke any sized holes wherever you want. The higher pitch notes are harder to get. Make a small blowhole for a softer sound.
