  • Standing ovation, BRAVO!!

  • @inspirediam Thank you my friend. Good to have your input!!

  • I don't down thumb videos, I leave a comment instead. When I click "like" it's because it shows up in my activity feed and it brings attention to the video in question.

  • @TheMudbrooker Leaving comments is what matters. It provides the insight...the thumbs down and up (for that matter..though it can communicate a simplistic message) is a pressure release, imo. Thank you for viewing my video!

  • Good point, but Don't hold me to it.

  • You will love this ???,,,see a video I have done called " The Secret of Oz Debunked 1/2 "

I seen it as a concern at first but now its a documentation of willful ignorance if anything rather than a rejection as such, but I have to admit repeating one self dose get quite frustrating at times as you may see in some of my replies so I guess there is an essence of disappointment or rejection if you like.

  • @EuphoricImpact Amen to that! ;)

    Enjoy your weekend! :)

  • @gedgetips (part 2) The thumbs down I find only useful if I partner it with a comment. Also I like to let the individual know I thumbed it down, in case they are gathering data via linking my comment with the action. Personally, if YT was going to provide this "reward program" to the viewer...I would select a gradient application. Allowing a more specific gauge to be available.

Thank you for viewing my video. Please do not be a stranger.

  • @gedgetips I found it interesting (in my early YT days) to view only those videos that were voted down. This provided an interesting method to utilize this function. Your explanation clearly shows how you use this function, ty. Personally, I find uses for the thumbs up when: 1) I want to "videomark", 2) I want to encourage another that does not know me, and are unlikely to correspond via PM with me, or 3) when I do not have time to comment but want to show positive support.

  • @gedgetips I don't quite get the dislike of the thumbs down option, since even if it is mainly one resentful fucktard finding a way to thumb down a vid 25 times, the very pt someone would bother doing this at least indicates there is possible serious opposition to the video subject matter. That is, one a-hole is not necessarily a lone critic as many or most are not going to bother expressing their disdain. I am sometimes surprised by the dislikes & will think more about the vid & comment.

  • I like the like button, altho I don't use it a lot, as it allows me to notice what those I subscribe to have watched and liked & this provides some good vids to view I would otherwise not have seen. I will "like" vids which involve something I would care to discuss & that many would benefit from viewing, usually leaving comments, while specialized videos on fixing something I will leave a thanks comment only. Thumbs down I rarely use myself, but find it useful as a guide to prevailing opinion.

  • @MrHead1972 The foolishness one is willing to demonstrate just because they have a difference in opinion, or different world view is astounding.
