Honestly, out of all videos on Youtube on learning drawing (I've watched dozens) this is the first video I've found that actually shows me how to do the basics. Kudos to you, sir.

That logic is the lowest. What is the difference between watching a video of someone drawing and practicing? Surely you can do those two at the same time. Speaking of which, I wonder why you watched this video in the first place. Oh let me guess... it was an accident and you clicked on it by curiosity?

Just to let you know, these videos are always mentioned in drawing threads on 4chan, you're considered one of the best teachers there.

Yup, it's sketchbook pro. I like it because the tools feel nice (smooth pencil, good response) and because the interface is unobtrusive (I don't need a keyboard and there aren't a bazillion floating onscreen gadgets).

How much does Sketchbook pro cost. And which did you use with this: Mouse or tablet?

You can buy it as a direct download from Autodesk for $179.00 USD (there are versions for both PC and Mac and it functions the same on both)
BUT... if you're a student and you have your student ID you can get it from Studica for $80!
All of these episodes are performed on a Wacom Cintiq interactive tablet display. It's a flat panel LCD with an integrated active digitizer.

this is very useful to me -thanks :) I've been struggling with line quality for a while now.

Glad I could help! The next toughest thing is being able to remember to use Point-To-Point with each line! :D
