Can you explain to us the way our
pilots shot themselves down?
The NBC Orchestra, Writers and conductors....

It wasnt only the Japanese who were fanatical when necessary. The frantic attacks of the US destroyers and desperate defense of the escort carriers at Leyte proved that. Later, during the Kamikaze attacks, hellcats would chase Kamikaze aircraft through US Antiaircraft fire, blazing away with their 50 calibers, getting shot down by their on guns, trying to stop the enemy.
