Elvis is asked some awkward questions about the Vietnam war. He reflects on the "image" of Elvis and real life. He turns the interview around with some funny observations.

  • Elvis was A True Professional when handling Political Questions.

His response from that Journalist about Conscription and War was spot on.

I wish Elvis would have visited Australia when Promoters were very close to doing a deal with Him in 1974.

Doesn't Matter. When I go to Heaven The 1st Thing on My To Do List is to meet Elvis.

  • When you watch this video, notice Elvis' answer when the reporter asked him a question about the war protesters. In my opinion, all "entertainers" should follow Elvis' lead!!!!!

  • Elvis was an intelligent man. Elvis was NOT stoned in this video. What you saw was Elvis' natural charm and great personality. I Love Elvis.

  • How do you know what he was? He looks fine to me!

  • Taking poison to numb the brain isn't cool.

  • He was very lucid in regard to answering the questions despite being stoned.

  • I wish I could have known Elvis. Poor guy was stones out of his freaking mind.

  • hahaha he looks high as hell

  • @mspinkytee - Funny you mention Jackie Wilson considering Jackie was one of Elvis' biggest admirers & personal friend. You say Elvis stole I say Elvis was inspired. Jackie was called by Blacks -- "The Black Elvis," not the other way around. You get tired of being copied? If not for Elvis no one would have HEARD "your" music. He brought it to the attention of the audience that BOUGHT records & legitimzied it for white people. He took "your" music & made it BIG business for YOU.

  • @lastrada52 What you say is not true either......And Elvis was just a copycate. I do not know why yall call him the king. Watch clips of Jackie Wilson singing lonely teardrops. Elvis copied his singing style and moves. We get tired of being copied all the time.
