  • If you are looking into 3d but feel you do not have the skills to make your own head, (car, dog etc etc) NEVER use a wizard like this, this is crap and your just cheating yourself out of experience. Get Zbrush and find some tutorials on sculpting, and retopo's in there FIRST. Any studio are artist worth mentioning will never use this in there workflow because it will only slow them down.

  • i'll download it just to make trollface 3d

  • Can this head be exported to a 3d modelng program, such as Blender?

  • @enger123 Your right this isn't for people learning 3d, but as I've witness first hand, major companies do use crappy software like this in low priority areas where the emphases is quantity (e.g crowds) as it only take 2 minutes to knock out a model.

  • Get a popshield

  • More powerful and also sophisticated than FaceGen.

  • @Matsuemon13 No problem. You have to use these programs to understand how important it is to do it those ways, and if your talking price, blender is a program which is free / open source. The best modelers, (they work hard to get there) don't touch these because it would make things more difficult, those guys get jobs and are paid well.

  • @enger123 Hey Enger, I have to disagree with that statement, at least partially. Zbrush is probably better (I'm not too familiar with either program) but also most likely more expensive. Nevertheless, even this program is infinitely faster at creating a good 3d model than doing it from scratch, which many artists still do. I've seen video footage of both programs and both seem good. Anyway, those are my thoughts =)

  • Cool software even tho it must be fairly old now!

  • what formats the program save?
