"Thank you for saving me!" - Ali Abdul, 12 Year-Old Future Heart Surgeon

Ali came to the Nasiriyah Heart Center seeking a lifesaving surgery, and he excitedly shared his desire to one day become a pediatric heart surgeon - "I want to save others like me!"

We followed the boy's story from beginning to end, and these were his final words for the camera: "Thank you for saving me!"
