To those of you who are confused: The cast is a mold for a DOC band. A DOC band is a headband used to reform the shape of the baby's head, which has become misshapen for one reason or another, the most common being simple birth defects. Most of the time they are not life threatening and can be treated long before they begin to affect quality of life.

Wow your Baby was great for this! Our daughter was screaming bloody murder! She got herself so worked up she got a nosebleed! We just graduated the other day! (She did have two bands) Good Luck!

watching this video brought tears to my eyes. cute little chubby baby is so strong. did not even cry or whined. i hope everything gets better. and if it did i am really happy.

@bassman1993 No need for name calling or being rude, some people just don't understand what they are seeing. I know I wouldn't if we had not gone through the process.
The good news is it worked fantastically and now his head is very close to normally shaped. This means he likely won't have some of the issues that we were worried about. (neck and jaw problems mostly)
