Arquebuse (primitive rifle) with bayonet:
Overall dimesions:
1.4 cm high. 13 cm long. 3.7 gr.
Costs: 0.35 Euros
Officially used rifle model.
Smoothbore/rifled brassed gun barrel
The caliber is of 2 mm, thickness of 0.5 mm & it's entire barrel diameter is of 3 mm broad.
Detachable iron bayonet. Iron cable trigger actionned with elastic/steel spring. Steel ramrod. Nordic pine buttstock.
1.8 mm bullet adapted for stabile long range flights. Bullet weight: 0.04 gr.
Firing requires: 6 match heads per shot and aluminium foil for proping. 0.3 Euros per shot.
Security match powder with no coal traces. { unlike artillery units that do use 5 % coal within the mixtures composition}
The reason why coal isn't used is for sue residues; such narrow barrel quickly get's jammed & a full barrel cleaning becomes necessary more often.
-Long to manufacture but cheap. There exists a reglementation not to use any other explosives, not even flash powder.
Altough it succesfully passed "torture tests" with over-loaded shots.
The bullet varies. More than 6 types of bullets are available:
The manufacturing consists of an iron cable shapped & filed to the form:
1- Spherical bullet. But I don't use them much as they're hard to make & they're not precise. I prefer making sperical lead bullets.
2- Flat head bullet. For practice shots.
3/4- Conical bullet hollowed at the rear to have long range ballistic properties.
Varying of the hollowed deepeness, I've classed two type of bullet:
3 = A shallow hole makes the bullet turn on it's flank on impact; making more destruction of soft targets.
4 = A deep hole passing over the balance point of the bullet makes it an armor penetrating bullet.
5-I also succesfully grooved a rifled barrel prototype. I've made a special bullet for it by using the same conical bullet shaped & I've glued a sheet of lead at the base to seize the grooves & thus spinning.
I haven't seen much improvement/difference on ballistic stance though.
6-Buckshot with a smaller diameter cable. Effective at close range if not more than 20 cm of the barrel.
Fused shot fired on incense contact. Average time required between ingnition contact and firing: 1.7 seconds.
Probability of misfiring due to variable factors: 3/14.
Slow loading process of an average of 4 minutes. Very low recoil. Poor fumes that dissipates quickly when fired.
Highly accurate shot within 10 m.
Effective range: 20 m.
Capacity to pierce trough 0.25 mm iron. Breaches 0.50 mm iron with 0.2 g (heavy) bullets.
Max. range ~ 60 m.
can you please make a video how to make the gun???
