The reason they were not on point was because this was a "demonstration" to promote an upcoming Nutcracker, and they were not dancing on marly floor just carpet. We did not want one of our dancers possibly hurting themselves because of the floor.
During the live performances the dancers do perform on Point. We will be uploading video from 2010 Nutcracker shortly.

How come no ones on pointe? Foot work was lovely and tutus are beautiful, but focusing on estension would help
