@chance2228 Since Im the one who was on the bike at the time I can tell you I turned the bike off immediately after the puff.The sizzling sound after that point is water boiling as it spills out onto the expansion pipe.I sure as hell didnt say to my friend "hey man lets keep my bike running after it just blew up and take a video of it getting worse".Did you not see the video was already rolling as the hose blew....We where lucky to have caught that on tape and share it with you.TRY AGAIN BUD

@jasonmccoll was there something wrong with the rad cap?
-
@KARATExxCHUCK Oh I was gonna say if it was a 4 stroke valves, but try checking your piston sleeve, might be moving with the piston.

should ahve put anti freeze in it, not just water, anti freeze will not only not freeze but also retain more heat since it has a higher hear capacity than normal water (eg.g) it can go to 120 C

@RoBtHeQuAdEr It's a 2 Stroke. 2002 RM 250
-
@KARATExxCHUCK Is it a 2 or 4 stroke?

@KARATExxCHUCK I had the same problem on my yz250. The crank went to shit which caused the knocking sound. I got a new crank, piston, bearings and seals online and rebuilt the motor both top and bottom end. I would really check your crank and rod.

"Did you get the poom?" Lol
I went riding a couple of days ago and as i was riding my bike just died. i Took it home, took off the cyclinder head and i had drops of water in it. So, i cleaned it out, put the head back on and now wen i started it it makes a loud knocking sound either from the cylinder or the casing. im not sure where and im afraid to start it up again to find where the sound is coming. Can you help me out and figure out whats going on? Thanks

@KARATExxCHUCK You need to take the whole cylinder off and inspect the piston rod and crank It sounds like a rod or crank bearing or piston breakage problem caused from the coolant getting inside.You can take the flywheel side cover off and twist it left and right to feel slop in the rod and up and down to feel if the crank bearings are sloppy But something is definitively wrong if its knocking loud Good luck

Didn't blow up, just the coolant line blew off. Could've just been a loose clamp

@JOHNNYGIX Yeh but it wasnt a loose clamp.It was a split hose and made a great "PooF" Wouldnt you agree???
