@rockstarcola100 There's nothing borderline about this series. They literally teach adoptionism -- that the "cosmic Christ" was simply "especially available" to Jesus, to the point that it possessed him, and he became the Christ.

I am hardly a fundamentalist, but after sitting through a class of this series this morning I was deeply offended. The most extreme and outrageous and, frankly, heretical (in that they deny all the creeds and decrees of the first four ecumenical councils) were presented not just as possibilities, but almost as if they were established facts. Tendentious, extreme left-wing scholarship (i.e. Marcus Borg mostly) was presented as if it were the only credible scholarship. Not recommended.

im ok with revisionism that does away with the "embellishments" of the past. But has this modern trend is swinging too far? Is truth the aim? Or a simple desecration of all that is holy, outstanding and true?
i also am not comfortable with the somewhat haughty terms "thinking/progressive christians" found in your media, as if those who do not agree with you havent thought out their position or somehow are not progressive. this does a great disservice to you and your message.

Not biography? Not divinely inspired? Not historical? JESUS 'only' Jewish? ALL his companions Jewish? End times apostacy at its finest. Hold fast to THE HOLY BIBLE and listen to David Wilkerson, Carter Conlon, Paul Washer, Leonard Ravenhill and others on SERMON INDEX. Jesus doesn't need saving. JESUS IS THE SAVIOUR!
