I hated this video for the first thirty seconds, but I quickly warmed up to it. The shaky-cam actually captures the feel of what it was like to watch the Digg Riot in real time.

thanks dude. I made about 3 different versions of this movie that night. One of them did use a bunch of screen caps but it didn't really seem like real time so i went with the camera footage. if it makes me less of a geek, so be it. i'm a filmmaker, so I used film. 5/1/2007 never forget.
