So, I finally found a Whitechapel song that was possible to cover... lol. Well, this is me covering Eternal Refuge by Whitechapel on the drums, and I hope I can do more soon if I build up the speed and percision necessary to play some of their more complex songs. But for now, enjoy! I know my blasts and fills are a little slow, but I am still working on my speed. Please leave any feedback or constructive criticism though!

I am 14 years old and have been drumming for 2 years.

  • mor Whitechapel dude. awesome cover yur snare reminded me of pistol shots haha

  • @AlienWorkshopxXx Thanks! I plan to do Father of Lies and Merder Sermon soon. Possession too after my blasts get fast enough.

  • At 50 seconds you hit the cymbals but there was no sound? Is this really you playing?

  • @tman1756 Yes, it is. I have only two cameras, so I record one angle and the foot cam simultaneously. If I want to add a second camera angle I need to do it in a second take. The sound recording comes from the first recording, which angle was from the front of the kit, the cymbal hit you did not hear I hit on the other angle which was merely a second take synced with the sound from the first. I do my best to only include the parts of the second takes that match but sometimes miss stuff.

  • How do you learn songs? Tabs notes just by hearing? Can u help me on this i want to play songs I just don't know how. Btw I can read drum notes and all that

  • @CodMasterAaron Tabs help for some intricate fills and bass patterns that are hard to decode by listening, but for the most part, I learn by listening, watching others, and practicing. You need to be able to memorize it though. Whatever way works for you is fine, as long as you get it memorized in the end. When I first started out, I used a lot of tabs, now I hardly ever touch tabs for drums. Try them out, see what is better for you, tabs or listening.
