The XK (Non-R version) does NOT utilize a 3.5 Litre V8 as stated in this video. It has the same 4.2 V8 as the "R" version, just not supercharged. Fact check better.

Ford stopped Jaguar making great cars,cutting costs and putting ford trim in!!!!!!! Jaguars now are Jaguars and not made up of Fords spare parts Bin!!!!!!!!!! Much better cars now............Jaguars answer since ford sold them? Jaguar XF winning What car magazine car of the year 3 times in a row!!! well done

Jaguar didn't borrow anything from Aston Martin, quite the reverse. The DB7 came from the Jaguar XJ41/42 which was stopped by Ford.
