Hey Guyz!

Thanks for the wait. I promised this last week but I only got it up to speed this week. I've made 3 videos.... the first 2 based on the game itself, and the last based on the level editor which is part of the game as well. The level editor is only 2 days old.. give it a while to be up to speed!

It's been about a month since my last video, and since then I've started learning C# and XNA. I love it. C# is such a sexy smooth language. I recommend anyone and everyone to have a go at it, as well as XNA - makes games wonderful to write! Don't forget to get an XBOX controller to hook up to your PC!

This is a platformer project similar to cosmiKPlatformer1 for C++ but with many new changes and developments! I've tried to show and talk about everything in these 3 videos... but It can't do justice to all the intricate workings and effort that i've put in to this! I must say, I'm really proud of what I've accomplished in such a short time. I hope this inspire any programmer or gamemaker to go forth and create what they want and love! I do this mostly because I love seeing my ideas come so quickly in to virtual fruition, and the best way for me to do that is by making it in to a game!

Please comment, and subscribe and I will have more updates soon.

I would really like to work with other programmers, and especially artists! I want your art for Tiles, LevelObjects, Items (jewels, animatedSprites, etc.....), Enemies. Backgrounds, etc. Please contact me and we can collaborate. I will feature your information in my videos as well as in the game. I do not actually plan to release this as a game commercially, but just want it as a showcase of what is possible, and mostly for the love and fun of creation itself! YAY!

If you have any questions, or would like advice, please message me and we can take it from there. I would much prefer if you comment first, and then send a message- that would be really helpful.

Thanks again for the wonderful comments and support previously,

Look forward to posting more videos soon!

  • cool! i need advice. i want to learn more xna/csharp langauge but i dont know ho have you any advice?

  • Right this is cool but i am just deciding what langauge to learn, i am a bit expirienced with c# but i know a bit about xna. could you give me advice on where to learn so i can be as good as you?????

  • Have you thought about perhaps, instead of having separate solid and non-solid objects, just have objects, and the non-solid objects you would place on the background or foreground layers. Place solid objects you can solid with on the middle layer. This way you have just one type of object and whether it is solid depends on which layer it is on. It's the method I planned on using.

  • well the site you uploaded your pictures to, wants a "pro account" to show pictures in the original resolution.

  • Impressive gore :D

  • nice

    whats your gametag

  • Heheh, impressive blood splatter.
