Well, I gotta be honest, if I had a son that showed an inch of interest in guitar playing I would borrow him all my gear, a JSX head and Cab, Boss GT Pro and Mayones Custom Guitars with EMG 81's. And if he was dedicated and put in the effort I'd get him his own set up just like mine. Maybe this boy's dad has it covered the way I'm thinking. Who knows??
