Has life got you down?
Well, heres a little pick me up .
Always look on the bright side of life (take it to the high kick)
Theres never enough time in the day to laugh so why not do it here for two hours
Jeff Dumas, loves Spamalot, hes been on and off the tour since 2006 and really, who wouldnt want that hair? Jeff thinks the jump in people coming out for musicals is a sign of the times
the news cycle is kind of depressing these days and I think that musicals like spamalot and drowsy chaperone have really reintroduced people to a lighter, frothier fare nad has taken them out of the seriousness of their daily lives
And bring you out of seriousness, Spamalot will lovingly ripped from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the show puts lyric and dance some already pretty funny stuff.
Honestly, I think this show is kind of a public service. You get to just turn off CNN and come see Spamalot.
Orange County is the final stop on Monty Python Spamalots tour and the swan song is bittersweet.
-its tough to say good-bye to something that brings a lot of laugh and a lot of smiles to people in not so fun times. always look on the bright side of life
theres dancing, theres singing, a whole lot of irreverence and even some really scary beasts. Spamalot is playing through oct 18 at the Orange County Performing Arts center. Im Jennie OHagan for OCNewsChannel.com
