Nothin' wrong with the 650R. They're great all-around bikes.
Plus, it's harder to tour long distances on the supersports. Throw a few low-profile bags on the back, using the hooks, and you'll be ready to go anywhere. I could've gone with a more powerful bike, seeing as how I bought my '09 650R brand new, but there was just something about the 650R that drew me to it.
But yeah, a bike is a bike. Just remember to always wear your gear and keep that rubber on the pavement!

I always wear my gear. This was only a demo of sound. I just put on her pipe and did a quick flyby for sound. The only time I don't wear it is when I go to the gym or the grocery store which is in residential zones anyways. We both prefer the zx6r for longer trips over the 650. My bike is surprisingly comfy for a supersport...seat is much softer then the 650.
