Tabla Composition on Frame Drum

Translation of a tabla composition to frame drum. The theme comes from Aloke Dutta. I've substituted some of the vistars and made adjustments for frame drum. The piece is still a bit rough, but I thought that it was an interesting reflection of my practice at this time.

Absolutely brilliant translation from tabla to frame. My frame drumming has begun to sound repetitious (everything I'm playing tends to sound the same or use the same base rhythm). This is one of those things that are so brilliant, that I wish I would have thought of it. ;) Thank you very much for sharing this with everyone. Just what i needed to see/hear.
