My visit to Bootle on Sunday the 26th of April was rewarded as the annual Saint George's Day Orange Order Parade passed by.
The Orange Order in Bootle and Liverpool always get their children involved and dressed up as King William III and Queen Mary.
The Concertina band is a rare sight these days and really nice to see (I don't think that there is one single concertina band left in Northern Ireland).
Bootle is it's own Orange Province, Bootle Orange Lodges are growing well at the moment. Liverpool Orange Lodges are sadly in decline where other parts of England, such as Manchester, London and Kent are attracting large amounts new members into the Order.
