Thanks for these videos. I have especially enjoyed the what worked well/ what didn't point of view. The video that is missing is FOOD. You mentioned that you or your mom had a food dehydrator. What did you eat? How did you get re-supplied? The logistics of food seem to be far more pressing than the merits of a down bag vs polyfil. Again, thanks for these! Superb job. ~ Joe

There are 3 sections where dogs are not allowed, Smokies, NY zoo, Baxter State Park. In his blog, he said the dog did not join him until after the Smokies. Then the dog got hurt and had to quit three quarters of the way through before arriving at the other 2 dog prohibited areas.

could he have stayed with you the whole way? some people have said they dont allow dogs for long stretches.
