  • Aboriginal/Native people on many continents have lots of kinship/death taboos that involve avoiding naming dead relatives, avoiding the gaze of living relations, not eating with certain relatives, close kin (brother/sister after puberty initiation rites),avoidance (to eliminate incest possibilities),etc. The "Australia" film has the same warning so people with these taboos can be aware of the content.

  • @DjTokenMusic I had never seen something like that here in the U.S.

  • @davegoes why? its a cultural thing with aboriginal and torres straight islanders, how is it strange?

  • its british. Original show was BBC production

  • As a whole, the Who Do You Think You Are series is the best show on television. I heard it was a Japanese TV creation. I could imagine those great episodes where the subject discovers their samuri or ninja roots!

  • thank you for sharing this.

  • That warning at the beginning is so strange.
