@Finalfreedom7 We should ? I am glad it is not thru you that I must go to get to heaven. Maybe the world should be able to recite it in english. Or maybe Greek, Italian, Latin or Russian. Point is the dialect or language isn't material. It isn't thee point or the purpose. Aramaic is beautiful, leave it at that.

No, Jesus spoke Syriac Aramaic. He chose the Semitic Assyrians to punish the Jews for their sinful ways, and that was in essence, the initiation of Christianity. As the Arameans assimilated into the massive Assyrian empire, Aramaic replaced the ancient Akkadian language, and Christianity was born; hence, Assyrians are known as the foundation of Christianity and cradle of civilization.
