Anti-war rock ballad dedicated to the 10 million or more soldiers who fell in World War 1 (1914-1918), in particular in honour of the "boy soldiers", who enlisted or were conscripted between the ages of 12 and 16.
This is SO well done. Excellent lyrics, of course - the music is a perfect complement to the words. The video is very powerful and expertly executed. Hope you make many more.
Absolutely riveting presentation/the song itself sent chills down my spine due to the disturbing nature and brilliant performance...this just adds another element/saddest part is humanity hasn't learned anything since this terrible episode in history and it still continues except we've replace mustard gas with depleted uranium and the child soldiers are called "insurgents"...same deal.
It's obvious that the graphics/slides have been chosen with a lot of care. They, along with Billy's touching music, form a perfect collage which once again rams home the futility of war.
But we never learn do we??
Thank you for composing a worthy lyric and sharing this with us.
A powerful song and video. Great performance. Great art.

This should be played every Remembrance Day at our schools and on TV. The horrors of war need to be visualized and spoken/sung about.
Thank you Donna.
