  • ...eventually. One thing though: you state this unit is model V212, which is Series 2. That doesn't line up with the 1972 date. 1968 to 1973 models had no series designation. Series 0 was 1974-1975, Series 1 was late '75/early '76 to '77. Series 2 started in 1978 and continued into 1979 at which point the V21 and V18 decks were replaced (shame!) with the new steel V-deck. A If this mower was '72 model year, it should just be model V21.

  • @torukmakto4 you are correct! It's a straight up V21. I realized that after I posted the vid, and neglected to update it ;)

  • Awesome. I have a V21 myself, a '75 V211P (SP with 6-speed disc tranny) that is original and has the original Briggs model 9 vertical smallblock. These things rock. The deck design is the best I have seen on any small walkbehind. Nothing else comes close on cut quality and efficiency, and these mowers are built for the long haul. Even mine, which has a few longstanding mechanical issues, kicks the asses of the best modern units out there. It will get overhauled and cosmetically restored...

  • @torukmakto4 100% agreed. Not even the commercial Toro alum. deck models today cut as fine as this one.

  • where is the date stamped in the deck because i want to see if the numbers match with motor thanks happy new years

  • As the video states, the motor is a B&S 3.5HP L-head 1986 model.

  • very nice mower!

  • Yep - 50-70 sounds about right. I've been getting lot of offers...but I like the mower and won't sell it yet. :)

  • I sold my 1974 Snapper for $35.00. I just had to get rid of it since i had to much shit. If it was newer with a high HP engine it would of sold faster, and for much more money. People dont realize that the older mower with a lower HP engine can do a better job than the newer mower with the higher HP engine.

  • np. sell it as NOS snapper on ebay
