@ConsciouslyModest Okay, thank you! I tried to do it without success--but I was also working with paper as my "fabric". Either way, I don't know if I would have been able to do it. Thanks anyways :)

@hermiesrokmysox That is a really good question, I'm going to say it would depend on how big your pouch would be and if you are sewing in a lining or not If your "pouch" is more the size of a hand bag you might be able to maneuver it on your sewing machine. I was going to say no, but I'm thinking of ways that it could work :) It would be easier to do without a lining but I think it is possible even with a lining :)

Great video! Very thorough--just what I needed. I do have one question: is there a way to make a zipper pouch with only two cut of pieces of fabric? Meaning, I would simply have a fold as my bottom "seam" rather than actual stitching--it would be like a folded hot dog bun, if that makes sense...
I am a bit challenged when it comes to sewing projects. When putting the lining fabric in place, is it right side down?

@corvettenonna Yes the right side will be on top of the zipper.
