I'm not real sure, but I do know that Flight Sim X got a lot of flack when it first came out for being way ahead of its time as it didn't run very smoothly on good machines. In other words, at the best settings, it would only work at decent frame rates for processors that hadn't been designed yet! Because my computer is older, I stuck with FS2004, when I realized X barely ran at even low settings. My first flight sim was one from the early 90's.
dude so awesome! landing looking west and viewing downtown is so cool. and thank u for this 5/5

I enjoy flying into Phoenix on FS.

Ok thanks for that :) I guess Flight Sim 2004 would work ok on my computer, even though Nvidia 7050 is outdated now i'm sure it would work ok with Flight Sim 2004. The graphics have certainly moved on a lot from the first ever versians that's for sure!
I enjoy the coping with anxiety vids too, I suffer from the same thing and it's great to see how you deal with it!
Take care,
Andy.

Awesome game! I had the first ever Flight Simulator back in 2004 on an old computer. My question is... I bought a new PC a few months back and the specs are good apart from the graphics card which isn't great. It is a quad core 6600 2.4 ghz processor with 3gb ram, the graphics card is only a Nvidia 7050 though, do you think this game or Flight Sim X would work on it?

Also, I think 4 GB of ram is what the specs call for (for the best performance) if I'm not mistaken. You'll definitely want the fastest video card there is. But I still suspect the limiting factor could be the processor. But with a quad core, you may be just fine, who knows.
