Every single video I make is always very heart-wrenching and I never am able to get through them without tears but this video was by far one of the hardest I ever had to make. Please listen to the lyrics when you think of Trey's story and please read his story below and on his foundation website. He was such a great kid and I can't imagine how much his family and friends miss him. I know it has to be such a lesser place without him. I didn't even know him and I miss him.

When you think of Trey several words come to mind. Most of all friend, funny, and laughter. Trey loved to laugh and loved making others laugh.

Trey Foote was a normal 17 year old boy. He loved sports, wakeboarding, laughing, spending time with his family and most of all to smile. Trey loved to laugh and make those around him laugh as well. He was always ready with a joke or funny saying. October 19, 2004, was the last day Trey was cancer free. On October 20, 2004, he went to the doctor with a lump on his leg and by the end of the day he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Trey endured two years of chemotherapy, a partial amputation of his leg and three major surgeries in hopes to be cured.

On Thursday, October 19th 2006 at 5 AM Trey flew away to be with Jesus. He is now completely healed, restored and well.

In the two year he battled cancer he never felt sorry for himself. Instead he focused on living each day. In the words of his friends "Trey never wanted to be viewed as sick or weak", which he never was. His life and battle left a lasting impression on us all.
Close to the end of Trey's life Lea and I would pray with him every night. Each night I would ask Trey if there was something he would like me to pray for. He would always respond "Pray for Becky, others who are sick and pray that I have a good day tomorrow dad." I would always agree but would always ask "Trey was today a good day?", which he would promptly reply "yes." On his last night on this earth we went through the same routine, although Trey was took weak to speak so he would just nod his head. On that night I asked him "Trey do you want me to pray that you have a good day tomorrow?" He shook his head "yes." I then asked "Trey was today a good day?" Trey shook his head "yes."

Trey..we all miss you so much. I never even knew you and you literally touched my heart in the deepest of ways. I will make sure that I, nor others will EVER forget you. You are so missed and you are loved.
