I wish people would leave the Amish Order alone. They are simple and plain people and do no harm to others. They do not want the attention given to them by tourists. Hard working, religious, and good people. We could learn a lot from them through their way of life.

People who don't have to live among the Amish will never understand our disdain for them. Yes, we are Prejudice towards them - because the Amish think they are so much better than we are. They mock our way of life (non Amish) while reaping all the benefits from it.

I've really got to agree. I used to audit a bank with a lot of Amish customers. A few observations: 1) smelly people, 2) treat animals poorly, 3) are all pretty wealthy (I audited their loan files on occasion).
