  • and you can use 2 motors axially joined this will make things even better :) in terms of current flow or voltage !

  • you should absoloutly use gears !!!!!! or else the speed wont be interesting neither the voltage;

    i have many of those motors; i get them from old photoopiers scavaging :)

  • Fantastic back yard engineering! I made a solar furnace and now I'd like to tackle a wind generator. You've given us inspiration for that. Thanks. How has the output been and how is the generator holding up?

  • Hey hows the mill doing?

  • Seriously. Laws of thermodynamics people.

  • @PutchKash that would be called Perpetual motion and it would need to produce more energy then it consumes. when you charge a battery you need to put in more then you got out so it wouldent work i said the same thing years ago when building a school project with my dad it would be nice tho i would call the electric company and tell them how i dont need them and that they should die

  • @joehara123 yes thats exactly my idea and it will generate the same power as the wind mill does only it wont be depending on the wind, its useing electrice to generate more electrice i havent tried it becasue i dont have the resources and time to try it, as for ur windmill i think it will be more efficient to connect the propeller to a sport bic mechanisem instade of directly to the alternator shaft to get more rolling for the alternator for every single propeller spin, wish to know what u think

  • @PutchKash so have one battery attached to say 5 car alternators with one electric motor with belts attached to all of them and then other batteries to store your power and have it wired to the other battery that runs the motor to keep it continuousley charging...is that kind of what you mean?

    have you done it?

    what type of power do you think it will generate?

  • PLEASE READ THIS I THINK IT MIGHT WORK

    ok, why dont you try to put like 4 of these motors on a line add pulleys to them then connect them all with a belt that goes to an electrical motor and add a batry to start the motor and so when the motor starts it will rotat all the generators you have and you will gt a lot of power and the morote itself will be fed from the generator it will fuelless generator that can run at constant productive speed FOREVER !!!! trust me and try it
