Once aging this is Black & white but the film leader says tv print.
16mm 1957
I read this is on dvd in color but have not seen it. Wonder if they edit or change the music on the dvd copy. This is the real deal tv print for B&W networks.
Never seen it black & white, there was also a color version with the same Harvey Films logo which is a bit creepy. There was no red Worldvision logo on there.
Huey was so dumb here, he never actually caught on that "Santa" was the fox in disguise. This was very similar to the Popeye short "Mister And Mistletoe," also from Famous Studios.
That theme music was Paramount's FINAL Noveltoon theme song and was used in uniform fashion for both Noveltoons and Modern Madcaps.
Baby Huey was among the most frequent of the characters coming out from the two lines of Paramount cartoons. I didn't include Herman & Katnip because they had their own theme during the late 1950s to early 1960s.

I actually have the color version of this on a VHS tape from Boomerang back when they used to air Baby Huey on "Casper and Friends."

"Oh, boy! A Jack in the Box!" Too bad for the fox that he's the one that got jacked up.
