Juan Carlos Murillo is a commercial airline pilot who suffered spinal cord injuries in 4 separate areas of his spinal cord. Doctors told him that his injury was "complete" and that he would never walk again. After completing four rounds of stem cell treatments at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama City, Panama, Juan Carlos is walking again, driving a car and has recently passed his commercial airline pilot physical examination. He expects to begin flying again for an airline within the next few months.
"The Stem Cell Institute states that stem cell therapy is not a miracle cure, but I think for us, the patients, our parents and all of our relatives, it is a miracle cure..." - Juan Carlos Murillo

  • To see video of Juan Carlos walking, please search Youtube for "FEVLCCaSacQ" The comments section will not allow us to post a full link to it.

  • He shoulda of had demonstrate!!! Walkin

  • @dazies1 - Please search for this FEVLCCaSacQ# in You Tube search and you will find a video that shows Juan Carlos walking. Unfortunately, YouTube will not allow us to post a working link in the comments section.

  • @dazies1 - Thanks for pointing this out. We've also included a new link that appears at 4:05 in the video while Juan Carlos is discussing walking and driving. Clicking it will also take you to a previous video that shows him walking.

  • Amazing that anyone at any time could brand research on this therapy as "unethical".

  • @colourmegone - actually, because these are "adult" stem cell treatments, meaning post-natal stem cells, there are no ethical issues with using them to treat patients. In this case, both the patient's own stem cells and umbilical cord stem cells donated from full-term, healthy pregnancies were used.

  • WE NEED TO FUND THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice vid

  • me like it

  • I would not trust going to this place. While the prospect of using stem cells to treat a wide range of disorders is certainly a strong possibility in the near future I am highly doubtful that cell medicine is not run by a contest artist hellbent on deceiving vulnerable people by posting up false ads of their so called success stories

  • juan i want to know where is the place please let me know and i want to know the name of the hospital please

    my mail is waleed280@yahoo.com

  • i asked the doctors in norway and they said to me that using stem cell to treat diseases like spinal cord and MS are many years away. and you guys used this for many many years.

  • im wondering why no other countries use stem cell to treat this and other diseases? i live in norway and they dont use stem cell at all. im wahcing these videoes on youtube where people got cured from diseases like spinal cord MS and other serious diseases. how can you guys in cellmedicne use this and not other countries

  • @cellmedicine This is an expensive treatment only designed for an Upper Class. What you are doing here is trying to advertise yourself , trying to make money out of people who are disable. How many thousands of piece of papers you take from people for this treatment? This capitalist system is killing.

  • Juan, thanks for putting up this video. I have an idea of where you have come from and understand being involved in flying how passionate one can be to get back up there. I am also an airline pilot and have recovered from a terrible plane crash. Would love to share your story with you. I am also still having difficulty with some nerve damage in my back which I would like to tackle. Please could you get in contact with me for some info. Well done davelentle@gmail.com
