This New Mexico officer's dashboard camera caught on tape a long drawn out chase of a 23-year-old driver who has taken the family's 2010 Camaro out for a joy ride. The suspect is able to avoid spike strips at least five times before succumbing to four flat tires. The driver had reportedly been drinking and was charged with DWI and aggravated fleeing. Officer's also reportedly find a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. (2010)
These cops suck....couldn't they just like....pull in front of him when he exited? Or pull behind him when he was stopped on the side of the road? They were more concerned about their own lives than doing there job which is supposed to be to protect and serve AKA save the lives of others from danger. FAIL.

Wow that was a very exciting slow speed chase. Why even half ass a run attempt? Hit the gas tard.

I can't believe those fools ran out in front of the suspect like that. Here's the first lesson in Pursuits 101: NEVER PUT YOUR BODY IN THE PATH OF A FLEEING MOTORIST.

Really can't believe they couldn't break the windows, that's incredible

The chase could've been over at 1:00 if the unit with the dashcam pulled up and wedged the vehicle between their police car and the one that pulled in front. Also, I don't know if positioning your body in front of the suspect's vehicle is standard procedure or not, but it sure seems risky since your life depends on them making the morally correct choice of not running over you.

If I'm ever faced with buying either a Camaro or a Mustang, I now know which one has stronger windows.

You know those safety glass breakers in case you drive into the water and whatnot. You think it would have been useful in this case :)
