and you should note, I'm running a CORE edition, it has everything you need on a netbook, except for all other componets that you probably won't ever need.

HP mini 110 with win7 x32 core edition from pressing the button to windows desktop in 28 secs.

Also should mention that I currently don't have any anti-virus installed, just a few apps but that's the time it takes to show me desktop.

btw my brother has this beauty and it rocks! can't compared to my hp.

my 904 ha with 160 gb hdd is about the same speed, but how do you get the fancy boot screen?????????????

booting to a login is MUCH different from booting to a functional desktop

agreed. If you had the chance to read the blog this is associated with this video, you would have read that I noted this and did it this way because there is too much variability in what happens after login due to various startup processes (anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc.)
