The following videos were recorded during a training on receiving, downloading and checking for the usability of artwork. It is a glimpse into the work day of a Junior Production Artist. I use 1 PC and 2 MACs. The PC is on the left and is where all the emails are received and downloaded. The MACs are used to check artwork after it has been uploaded to our server. The email software on the PC is Outlook Express. Artwork is also downloaded from the server hosting our company website which is often used by customers to upload larger files. The applications used in the videos to check the artwork coming in are Indesign CS2, Illustrator CS2, and Illustrator CS3. Stuffit Expander is free software that we use to unstuff the files that are zipped/compressed.
Video and sound quality are not good because it was recorded with a camera phone.
