This origami tutorial will teach you how to make a sonobe unit, and then how to assemble them to form a 30 units sonobe.

Origami is the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. Origami requires no glue, tape, scissors, cutting, or staples. All designs can be created from square paper. In this tutorial I am using paper 3.5" x 3.5", but you can use any size you prefer. For beginners I don't recommend going any smaller size, though.

  • can i use just 2 colors ?

  • @kiconi019 You can use just 2 colors if that is what you prefer. It might make it a little more difficult (you won't have the luxery of being able to clearly distinguish where one color starts and ends) and it might also look a little weird, but it is possible. Good luck!

  • were do you get the paper at

  • @Caliweedman93309 Normally, I get paper at Michael's Crafts Store, but it is a little pricey. I haven't really found inexpensive origami paper supplier. If you find one, please let me know!

Sorry this wasn't much of a help...
