@F12ESHY you CAN'T be serious... You said a GT500... a 540hp supercar. There is NO WAY a G8 can come close to keeping up with a GT500. Even a 5.0 GT would smoke it. And it should. They are in 2 completely different categories.

Wow is there some heated debate. My 2 cents considering I posted this video . The car came out to beat the 4 door sports sedans like Maxima, Charger, etc. Mustangs are a totally different "type" of car. And for the record I agree that a new 5.0 Mustang will stomp all over my G8, as it should considering mine is a Sedan. Much better time would be spent comparing the Camaro (built on the G8 platform) and the Mustang.
