During a 10 week research project, undergraduates Fred Clark Jr. and Dan Nguyen created algorithms that could choose the most probable dynamic arm movement (from a set of 5), or static position (from a set of 5), given a sample of EMG signals. An interface was created to transfer the algorithms decision to a robotic arm to make a corresponding movement.

  • We used a Delsys Myomonitor with surface electrodes, double differential. You can find them at Delsys web page.

  • which kind of muscle sensor do you use, I am also doing the research of EMG sensor, and right now I am looking for which sensor could be used in the project. So could you please let me know the type of the sensor.THX
