Master Virgil is showing Salem Assli, Professor of the art of French Kickboxing Savate, how to perform the Balintawak Lesson Drill number two.
Professor Assli is very interested in adding to his arsenal of knowledge, that is why he is serious in learning F.M.A. following Guro Dan Inosanto's principle that to be the best you must be open to all other styles and must try to learn something new to keep your mind and body sharp.
There is no perfect style or complete style in martial arts. Once you think your style is the best is the day you stop growing and learning. Put aside your big ego and start learning something new today. Master Virgil
This is the basic of Balintawak. And yes it is derived from the late Doring Saavedra, to Grandmaster Bacon, to Vicente "Inteng" Atillo, then to Great Grandmaster Ising Atillo. I studied under Great Grandmaster Atillo when I was in SO. CA. I have achieved Master level under him. And more power to you David.

@thesingist
Malcolm, This Balintawak is derived from Saavedra Style and coming from GM Atillo.
We have over 20 different sparring drills and this particular drill is number 2. We do not have groupings in our style. Thank you for asking.
