Azula's my favorite character, and I believe people who hate her are just shallow!! If you don't have an understanding of her, it's clear that you don't take the time to even analyze circumstances. I think there are too many people who just don't care.
Awesome vid!!

I just wished they redeemed Azula into something more then what she became. she was so incredible, but yes, she was damaged beyond return, I suppose.

@19park85 yeah, thats how i see it to. she just did what she needed to in order to try and find love and acceptance from her father, because her mother... well... she thought Azula was a monster so she did what she had to for her father to loveher. its how i see it.

Azula is my favorite character as well. at first i hated her but realized she wasn't born evil. like what everyone else said her mother favored Zuko and Ozai ain't exactly ''father of the year'' and he corrupted her, using her as bait. at the end i felt really sorry for her because deep down she just wanted to be loved so yeah she was mean and cruel but only because her father taught her. she would've been better off with Ursa raising her instead of Ozai. He did screw up his kids lives

@BacchusLei They'll may have some momentous flashbacks/heavy ties from ATLA, but most of our unanswered questions will be the focus in the upcoming novels by DarkHorse & the creators.

@worldends08 That would be interesting. Unfortunately, we probably won't learn much more of what happened to her until the next series, Legend of Korra.

@gumisgreat94 They don't care b/c M&B never provided evidence of good existing in Azula. (Her name's practically an adaption of the word, 'Asura', which is Hindu for "demon." Heck, you'd think she started suckling on Ozai's teat, instead of Ursa's, from the day she was born.) As long as she's not made into a scapegoat over the course of history, and the future actions of the GAang have led up to some big issues/problems in Korra's period, than I'm fine with it.

@BacchusLei It may sound crazy; but I hope she found some sort inner peace.

@onewanderingone For Ty Lee I meant when they were young they seemed good friends. Ty Lee also seemed to enjoy being with Azula and Mai once she joined. Azula manipulated her but Ty Lee didn't really fear her. They were childhood friends. And yeah, Azula was cruel but her mother still pretty much abondoned her to protect Zuko since he was the weaker of the two. That left Azula to deal with Ozai herself. So she conformed to what he wanted.
All people who dont like Azula are shallow! Azula is a good person, well to her side. Some people just judge people without even seeing the real them!
Luv dis vid awesome

@Seekerzrules *lol* Thanks. People who say they don't like Azula are going off of base instincts. As despicable as she could be, and as sad as her story is, she was actually quite admirable.

@BacchusLei i wouldnt admire her she was selfish

@philipkatsotas "Selfish" is a very simplistic way of looking at Azula. I'm not saying that she was a good person. She wasn't. And like I'm trying to say, she's damaged. But some of her traits were admirable.
