Watching Renetto's reply to "Who are you" got me thinking not only about how creativity has played a part in my life, but about the age we live in. The Age of Creativity - where sharing has given us tools, audiences, and opportunities to create.

Video outline:
1. Begining words (concerning Renetto's video)
2. Personal background (growing up & creativity)
3. Our Age of Creativity (how sharing has opened new doors)
4. Now's the time to create (don't miss the moment. Create.)
5. Closing words

  • This video is good. I'll probably have to make a video with my own ideas on creativity and my life experiences with it.

  • Aye, mate. This one was back in the old days when I thought it didn't make a difference how long your video was. :P 9:35 is pretty long..

  • i have to disagree with you when you say this is the age of creativity! no, no; this is the age of non-creativity; art classes and music classes are leaving our education system; structured sports and activities abound; memorization of facts is too stressed; i could go on; the whole education system needs a bigtime revamp; youtube is a great creative outlet, yes...but creativity has been shown over and over again to be a low priority in our edu system

  • Liz...I agree with you. This may not be the most creative age. My opinion is that it has the most /potential/ in terms of creativity. That potential is due to how easy it is to learn (online - not in schools as you said) crafts and hobbies. Liz, I have no hope in our edu system and did not even consider it in my outline. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, and thankyou for sharing your thoughts! Sharing is golden.

  • very well said. greaqt contribution to the creative part of the world!!! thanks

  • Thanks for encouraging the world and empowering them in what you term The Age of Creativity.

I wrote a book on creativity that concurs with your ideas on "share for free syndrome" and how it encourages creativity. It's called Collabetition. I'd appreciate your feedback.

  • Thank you for this thoughtful and inspiring video!

  • you'll be sick of me before the night is out! My love from computers came from games. I wanted to be a programmer too. Then I got interested in movies, too. I made a few homemade movies. Finally, I chose to do a degree in Electrical Engineering. I want to combine my knowledge with my creativity, and make a difference.

  • silence is golden.

  • has anyone here checked out the new bill gates foundation on education? i know he's of the 3 RRR's, wonder if there is anything in his goals about creativity; and whats her name? teacher who teaches math tables with like hip hop singing??? all the kids pass that class!

  • i taught painting: most creative student: gal from the backroads of Kentucky; she had had no art classes in school; no sports/after hours activities; she had 'time' to nurture her creativity. i'm 63 & no scholar: spent my childhood making mud pies, catching crawdads and riding ponies. and people call me very creative. think we're off base if we don't allow children 'time' to just BE, to play creatively (no TV!). yes, many schools do know this; Fed guidelines make it hard; pet peeve here!
