That wasn't a silly question. NAUGHTY chef! Pouring in hi-proof spirits while the pan is directly on an open flame, big...dangerous... no-no. And unnecessary for the same effect-- slide the pan away, pour, the replace it and watch the pretty fire billow up... while a little more controlled.

no cinnamon or orange zest? What about adding corn starch to thicken? So many different ways to prepare it on the internet.
