Chapter 1 The Good Loser

Part 1 of my new sprite series.

Luigi is tired of constantly living in Mario's shadow and being treated like the dumb sidekick when he wants to be the hero for once. Then one day his life is turned upside down when two Koopa plumbers unwittingly unearth an ancient, magic mask which grants the wearers inner desires with the powers to grant any of those desires no matter how twisted they may be, and Luigi now has his hands on it. When the green plumber places the Mask on his face he becomes an unstoppable, whacky, supercharged creature of mischief, the kind of guy you would NOT want to call for help. Luigi tries to act like the powerful, responsible superhero, rescuing people and helping those in need, but the Mask always has other ideas.

Meanwhile a new Koopa has entered Bowsers army, General Karnage who is determined to gain Bowser's favour by enabling the Koopa king to capture Peach, but is constantly defeated by a combination of the stupidity of Bowsers' army and the interference of this mad creature in a green mask.

This... Was awesome. This was awesome dude. I liked how Mario and Luigi had no text bubbles (at least 'till Luigi slapped on the Mask, which by the way was awesome) and instead stuck with traditional game voice grunts, laughs, catchphrases, etc. Loved, and thought it was hilarious. Can't wait for the next one.

@MrOmnitrix4 Thanks, I wanted it to be more traditional to Mario and Luigi then the fan fiction. Plus I think I can make Mario and Luigi say alot without them actually saying anything.

@xmooza It'll take me a while, I've got a number of episodes I'm planning to make, about 9 or more. I think I forgot to add this in the credits but I used Marcomedia Flash 8 Pro to animate it, it's old, still quite expensive but worth it IMO, especially if you shop around for the best deal.
